Idea Zone
Documents from conversations

Share your work
as a document.

Turn a ChatGPT conversation into a single HTML file. Keep the tables, images and context, with a layout someone else can read.

Opens in a browser. No account needed to read it.

Sample document

A single file

Images, formatting and navigation are included. There’s no folder of assets to send.

As much detail as it needs

Use named sections for longer work. Read one section at a time, or the full document.

No publishing required

Share the file directly, host it yourself, or print all its sections to PDF.

Choose the layout.
Let the reader choose the colour.

Each layout is a separate template with its own typography and structure. The colour menu in every document changes its palette without changing the layout.

01

Brief

Plain type, a narrow contents column and a compact reading width. For proposals, notes and handovers.

02

Editorial

Serif text, larger headings and a single reading column. For explanations, essays and longer reads.

03

Report

Numbered sections, denser tables and a defined document boundary. For comparisons, plans and reference material.

Four colour options

Neutral, Warm, Sage and Dark. Try the Colour menu inside the example above. Changing the layout creates a different HTML file.

Use it in a chat.

The plugin gives ChatGPT the templates and instructions for producing a document. You specify what to include, who it’s for and which layout to use.

Private release. The link is available to authorised accounts. The ZIP download is a package, not an automatic installation.

Creating a file requires a ChatGPT session with file tools. Installation depends on your account and workspace settings.

  1. Install Idea Zone

Open the plugin link and select Install when available. Start a new chat after installing.

  2. Select the content

Use the current conversation, supply your notes, or attach reference files. Say what the reader needs to know.

  3. Ask for a document

Choose Brief, Editorial or Report. Download the HTML file and check the content before sharing.

Use Idea Zone to turn this discussion into a Brief for the team. Include the comparison table and the next steps.

Sharing the file

What does the reader need?

A modern browser. The file works offline, including its images, colour menu and section navigation. External source links need a connection when followed.

How do I send it?

Send it through a service that accepts HTML attachments, or upload it somewhere you control. Some email services block HTML files. Use Print / PDF in the document if a PDF is easier to send.

Is the document uploaded to this website?

No. This page contains a fixed example. Your document is created in your chat session. The plugin does not publish it or send it to this website.

Can I change the layout after exporting?

Ask ChatGPT to render the same content with another layout. It creates a separate HTML file. Colour choices are available inside each exported file.
